Edger Cayce

Edgar Cayce Edgar Cayce (1877-1945) a famous American psychic was often referred to as the "sleeping prophet" as he would enter a trance prior to a reading. Edgar Cayce believed that whilst in the dream state one has the potential to experience various levels of awareness and more importantly gain valuable insights on all levels of experience - physical, mental and spiritual. In the dream state we can open our minds to the various levels of our unconscious. Depending upon what is most needed at the time, dreams
can be spiritually uplifting, practical or instructive. Cayce believed that anything of major importance including life issues will be foreshadowed first in a dream. Cayce interpreted an abundance of dreams, their symbols and images and believed that the dream content was directly associated to the experiences and activities that were occurring in the dreamers waking life.
